THE POWER OF GOD

Topic : The Kingdom of God Is Not In Words Only

1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” (KJV)

There is something the body of Christ needs to be careful about in the way we teach the word. The kind of message on our pulpits, determines the kind of life the believers will experience. Little by little the church because of the kind of teachings it’s consuming, has turned into a place of many words but no glory.

The verse above shows us that the kingdom of God is not in mere words but in the power of God. What separates the life of God from religion, is the power. If we are not careful, we will create a generation of believers that are not spiritually alive; yet alive to arguments and opinions.

An average believer today knows more than he can demonstrate. But we are called to demonstrate the power of what we know.

The church is not a debate class with proposers and opposers; it is a place of demonstrating the evidence of the power of the true God. Learn to take time and grow in the power of God.
