Topic : True Spiritual Growth
In Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, he was wroth with their conduct and spiritual stagnation that he wrote to them in a tough language. Expressing seriousness that he might have them refocused to the gospel. Often times, the hardest teachings on our pulpits are such pointers to see if we be obedient in all things.
The verse shows us, the mind of the writer as one who was testing the obedience of the believers in all things. When you choose to learn in part, your growth is also in part. But when you learn in the full counsel of God, you grow withal.
Spiritual growth is an intentional journey with intentional listening.
The hardest teachings form the greatest lessons in life. That’s why elsewhere the scriptures say, better to be in a house of sorrow than in the house of joy.
