Topic : Serving An Unreasonable Leader

Genesis 16:9 “And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.” (KJV)

In the life of God, there is a provision for a man to serve under an unwise man and yet still be blessed. Most people are trying to look for a perfect leader, this is the same reason children are no longer respecting their own parents but spend time at their relatives' place because they assume the relative is more parenting than their own parents.

The verse speaks of Sarah and her over bearing leadership over Haggar, who could not stand it any longer. But when the angel of the Lord appeared unto her, he asked her to return to Sarah and to submit herself to her. Why would God allow a person to submit to one that’s mistreating? You will flourish the day you understand that seeking a perfect family is never God's idea.

God wants to make you the perfect family in an imperfect family.

There is more blessing in walking in the will of God than comfort in the land he never sent you. Paul reminds Titus to set in order the things which are wanting because that was the reason he was left in Crete. He never advised him to find a city where things were okay.
