1 Samuel 3:20 “And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.”

In course of pursuing purpose and salvation, there will be a time for work; where a man is still trying to establish himself as true and from God. In that moment a man will seek God, a man will pray, a man may fast.

Eventually, that man will be established in what he does. The verse shows us that in all Israel, Samuel was established as a prophet of the Lord; everyone knew him for that. No man can be established as wise without distinguishing himself from the crowd.

Purpose pursued will always distinguish you and establish you before men by God.

This is why like Samuel we ought to pursue purpose diligently as men who know that we will be crowned with glory.
