Topic :  Why God Adds To Certain Fellowships

Acts 2:47 “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”(KJV)

One day I was speaking to two believers; one had been in salvation for more than 15 years and another barely 5 years. I found that the former was not winning souls, just came for prayer without inspiring any to follow them while the latter was busy influencing everyone in their neighborhood to follow them. I found out that the older believer had lost the place of soul winning which is the ultimate reason why we got saved in the first place.

The verse shows us that there were many that were added to them daily because they preached the gospel. God cannot add to a fellowship need salvation; if no man is reaching out to the lost. Preaching or witnessing the gospel is not standing on the streets and calling on everyone who is passing, most often than not that’s just advertising a ministry, soul winning is a deliberate approach of sharing the blessing of God with your neighbor.

You will discover that the day you start to win souls in that day, you will be growing yourself.

Every soul winning ministry is a healthy ministry, it’s the ability to win the lost; that proves the spiritual maturity of a person. Always ask yourself when was the last time you won a soul? Why would you not share you faith, if you were growing.
