Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (KJV)

Have you ever wondered why some people can meet a person and get so much results while others can meet the same person and still be on the same level? Well, the answer lies in being slothful. A slothful man is one who can never be impressed. Take him to the richest man in the world, he will tell you he found him not smart, take him to the most anointed man; he will say, he is short. Such people have a conscience that is so closed that they can never be inspired.

The verse tells us not to be slothful but to follow those who, through faith and patience inherited the promises. As a human being who grows, you must come to the realization that to make progress, you have to learn to be impressed and interested. Opinions of stuck men keep them stagnant.

The mind of those who grow begins with accepting that what others have achieved is indeed great.

This is something that many people struggle with but do not even realize it. It’s so much to the extent that people even undermine their own achievements so they continually view each other's failures whilst those who appreciate small progress, go on to make great strides in life.
