Proverbs 11:27 “He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.” (KJV)

One of the greatest rules of the universe is the ‘Law of attraction’. There are many unwritten laws that God set this universe to respond to. They may never be written anywhere but by wisdom, the scriptures confirm their existence and every single day we see the undeniable fruit of their existence. That one will always attract exactly what he is seeking.

The scripture shows us that through diligence, one ought to seek good, and will buy for himself favor. But it also speaks of those who seek for mischief, those who look for evil whether in people or in their own life. The verse assures us that mischief will come upon them.

Wisdom guides a wise man to seek only for that which is beneficial for his soul.

I have observed people go through the same conditions of life and produce very different results and the difference was in what they really sought. I have seen children who grew up in lack end up very wealthy because they used their experience to curve their expectations and others who grew up in lack end up broken and beaten up, because all they saw was men who are disadvantaged.
